Caring for your natural bracelet

Care guide

Real wood and genuine stone deserve a little more care than costume jewelry. A few small habits are all it takes to keep yours looking its best for years.

Wood Bracelets Care

Agarwood, Sandalwood, Rosewood

Wood beads are porous, which gives them that warm, soft feel — but makes them more sensitive to moisture and prolonged sun.

DO

  • Keep Dry: Avoid contact with water during daily wear. Please remove the bracelet before washing your hands or doing dishes.
  • Use a Soft Cloth: After wearing, gently wipe the surface with a clean, dry cotton or microfiber cloth to remove sweat and dust.
  • Store Properly: If you won't be wearing the bracelet for a long time, place it in a moisture-resistant bag or the provided cloth pouch and store it in a cool, dry place.
  • Natural Patina: The small amount of natural oil from your skin can gradually give the wood a warm, natural shine over time. Regular wear can help develop this natural character.

DON'T

  • Do Not Soak or Rinse: Never wear the wooden bracelet while showering, swimming, using a hot spring, or rinsing it with water. Water can cause the wood to swell, crack, or change color.
  • Avoid Chemicals: Keep the bracelet away from perfume, hand sanitizer, shampoo, skincare products, and detergents, as these chemicals may affect the wood’s natural surface oils.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight and High Heat: Do not leave the wooden bracelet in direct sunlight or near heaters or dryers. Sudden exposure to high heat and dry conditions can cause the wood to crack.
  • Do Not Apply Oil or Wax: Avoid using untested vegetable oils or chemical wood-care products, as they may cause the wood to darken, become sticky, or clog the natural pores of the wood.

Stone Bracelets Care

Tiger's Eye, Obsidian, Agate

Naturally harder and more water-resistant than wood — but some stones are more brittle than they appear.

DO

  • Gentle Cleaning: If the surface gets dirty, gently wipe it with a slightly damp soft cloth. Immediately dry it with a clean, dry cloth afterward.
  • Prevent Drops and Impact: Natural stones have a crystalline structure. When putting on or removing the bracelet, do so over a soft surface to avoid dropping or hitting it against hard surfaces.
  • Store Separately: Store the bracelet separately from hard jewelry such as diamonds or metal pieces, or keep it in a separate cloth pouch to prevent scratches.
  • Check the Elastic Cord: Regularly check the condition of the string or elastic cord. Depending on how often you wear the bracelet, it is recommended to replace the cord every 6-12 months to help prevent breakage.

DON'T

  • Avoid Strong Impact: Natural stones such as agate, lapis lazuli, and tiger's eye can be damaged by strong impacts. Avoid hitting the bracelet against hard surfaces or wearing it during intense physical activities.
  • Do Not Use Ultrasonic Cleaners: Some natural stones may contain tiny cracks or inclusions. Ultrasonic vibrations can potentially damage these structures or enlarge existing cracks.
  • Avoid Strong Acids and Alkaline Chemicals: Keep the bracelet away from detergents, vinegar, strongly alkaline soaps, and cosmetics, as acidic or alkaline substances may affect the stone's surface and shine.
  • Avoid Sudden Temperature Changes: Do not expose the stone bracelet to extreme heat or sudden changes in temperature, as thermal expansion and contraction may cause hidden micro-cracks.

Wood Bracelet Storage

Applies to Wood Bracelet

DO

  • Store in a Cool, Dry Place: Keep the bracelet in a stable, well-ventilated environment at room temperature, such as in the provided cotton, linen, or microfiber pouch. Keep it away from moisture and direct sunlight.
  • Keep It Dry During Humid Seasons: During long periods of high humidity, you can place a small packet of food-grade desiccant in the storage box and use a sealed bag to help protect the bracelet from moisture.
  • Store Flat: Place the bracelet naturally on a soft surface or inside a zippered pouch. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it, as this may stretch or deform the elastic cord.

DON'T

  • Avoid High-Humidity Areas: Do not leave the wooden bracelet for long periods in bathrooms, near sinks, or in damp basements without air conditioning, as high humidity can cause mold or discoloration.
  • Keep Away from Heat Sources: Do not store the bracelet directly next to radiators, air-conditioning vents, space heaters, or under a car windshield. Excessive heat and dry conditions can cause the wood to dry out and crack.

Stone Bracelet Storage

Applies to Stone Bracelet

DO

  • Store Separately: Keep the stone bracelet in a jewelry box with a soft fabric lining or in a separate cloth pouch. This helps prevent stones of different hardness levels from rubbing against each other and causing scratches.
  • Store in a Safe Place: Keep it in a stable drawer or storage box where it is unlikely to be knocked over or dropped, helping prevent damage or breakage.

DON'T

  • Avoid Storing with Metal or Hard Objects: Do not store the bracelet directly with keys, sharp metal accessories, or very hard gemstones such as diamonds or jade, as they may scratch the stones.
  • Avoid Prolonged Exposure to Strong Light: Some natural stones, particularly those containing iron or copper, may fade or lose some of their luster after prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Store them away from direct light.
